ColomerUSA, Inc., a full-service manufacturer of quality salon products with brands that include: American Crew, Creative Nail Design, Framesi, Revlon Realistic, and African Pride, is seeking a Distribution Supervisor, 2nd Shift for its distribution facility, in Jacksonville, FL.
Functional Responsibility:

Direct daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment for associates.

Organize and lead the focus on improved productivity levels in a manner that first stresses effectiveness by improving processes and also stresses the efficiency of associate work.

Ensure the associates have proper access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned duties and that the tools are routinely inspected and cared for daily.

Oversees the required maintenance and repair needs of the facility and equipment.
- Track productivity data and provide feedback. (Associate Scorecard)

Plan, manage, and adjust the daily workload and staffing to minimize overtime and temp labor.

Manage the accurate and efficient process of receiving and stocking of all customer returns.

Handle all personnel related issues including training, coaching, and discipline.

Communicate with management staff for specific instructions to ensure continuous production processing efficiencies during shift or at shift changes.

Identify, document and enforce safety issues/safety policies.
-
Participate and enforce any policy, procedure, method or system enhancement implemented.

Communicate and follow through to all levels of the organization in an effective, professional manner.

Responsible for developing a hands-on training program for our employees.

Require to learn the technical skills of the DC as well become the subject matter expert in all departments on the job requirements and system.

To coordinate and supervise the shift, daily and weekly activities; providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the workforce, executing against Customer / site requirements to "create new value by working together." in all areas of DC operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory control.

A strong emphasis will also be placed on developing and sustaining process documentation and performance metrics.
Special Requirements of the Position:

The individual must have strong problem solving and organizational skills.

Must have the ability to organize, schedule, and plan daily activities, while supporting operations staff with technical knowledge.

Responsible for scheduling, providing appropriate resources and completing production across all shifts.
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Education: Associate's Degree
Salary: Commensurate with experience; Relocation expenses not included.
