Key Results Area:
Manages daily warehouse operations in
conjunction with Third Party Warehouse Operators. Helps ensure orders are
flowing timely and accurately to customers. Accountable for budget for
designated warehouse location. Joint ownership of Standard Operating
Procedures which includes, but is not limited to, inventory accuracy,
order cycle time schedules, and procedures to ensure all internal and
external compliance. Seeks out and implements cost reduction
opportunities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for
select warehouse location service and inventory performance. Metrics
include on time receiving, on time shipments and inventory accuracy. .
Responsible for the development of the annual budget. Responsible for
meeting budget. This would include trend analysis and related action
plans. . Serves as an interface between Customer Supply Chain and the
Warehouses. Gives direction on daily issues. Participates on product
launch teams with a goal of flawless execution. Responsible for leading
or sponsoring continuous improvement initiatives, which include the use of
Lean tools. Help create a Lean culture in the warehouses. Responsible
for keeping the Warehouse Procedures Manual and/or the SAP Procedures
Manual updated. Coordinates Disaster Preparedness program from a
Warehouse perspective. May coordinate building appropriate display
products within the warehouses for customer shipment. Control Warehouse
Damage write-offs, especially over $1000 and sign and follow up with
warehouses. May serve as a focal point for system issues warehouse may
experience. Serve as focal point for non stocking types from returns,
etc. Disposition obsolete product received. Ensure product return process
is flowing appropriately. May send monthly reports on slow moving
product to Planning organization to receive disposition to help ensure
product turns. Understand and review inventory adjustments. Ensure root
cause analysis is being conducted with subsequent improvement activities
as needed. Obtain warehouse compliance on SOX quarterly checklist. On-site at warehouses for audits, physical inventories, control reviews,
etc.

Marketing and Sales . Quality Assurance Department . Purchasing . Plant
Warehousing
Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years of Warehousing experience
preferred . Undergraduate degree (Business, Supply Chain Mgmt,
Logistics). Strong analytical skills. Leadership skills. Strong written
and verbal communication skills. Must be self actuated. Computer
literate. Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Willing to travel.
