Associate Team Leaders are met or exceeded. Provides excellent store support while abiding by the strictest standards of food safety, and sanitation.
Coordinate all warehouse operations including, receiving, selection, truck loading and shipping.
Address Team Member's & Facility safety issues, training, inspections, improve safety programs and results.
Conduct monthly safety/team meetings.
Innovate/enhance Safety and Training programs.
Coordinate shipping requirements with carriers to meet on time departures.
Arrange pick-ups, transfers, and special deliveries with Store Team Leaders, Coordinators and Buyers.
Insure that proper inventory procedures are followed.
Team Member productivity and morale.
Monitor and verify accuracy of time and attendance reports.
Communicate performance objectives and lead individual and team performance of the warehouse department.
Provide support and resources to maximize productivity and profit.
Issue counseling statements and/or unsatisfactory work/re-training warnings when required.
Insure that a weekly work schedule is completed for the warehouse TM's according to business productivity.
Oversee and monitor compost, baled plastic and baled corrugated collections.
Ensure that Whole Foods policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Maintain general upkeep of warehouse and follow HACCP & organize standards.
Contact vendors for repair and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, floor scrubber, dock doors, dock levelers, refrigeration systems, plumbing and vehicles.
Build and maintain a friendly, courteous and professional team.
Able to meet physical job requirements.
Excellent people skills and ability to work well within a team.
Minimum 3 years experience with warehouse management.
Knowledge of shipment routing, distribution and consolidation methods.
Able to communicate effectively with others.
Must be self-motivated, solution oriented and have good follow through.
Willing and able to work flexible hours.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Must be accurate and detail oriented.
Basic math skills as they relate to position and benefits.
Ability to be flexible and meet deadlines.
Well organized and productive.

Able to lift up to 40lbs unassisted

Proactive approach to problem solving.
Basic computer skills a plus.
