Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)

Department: Maintenance

Location: 10485 West Bellfort Drive
Houston, TX 77031

Work Schedule: 2nd & 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday
4:00 PM – 2:30 AM and 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Salary: Competitive Pay depending on Experience plus Shift Differential Pay

Responsibilities:
• Experience in repair and maintenance of material handling equipment and industrial dry cleaning/laundry machines
• Knowledge of mechanical operations for motor driven equipment
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical operations for motor driven and gravity equipment
• Work with other departments within the Distribution Center to solve maintenance problems
• Perform major repairs and maintenance of material handling equipment including fork lifts, pallet jacks, rolling racks, conveyors, slick rail and loading dock systems
• Knowledge of electrical circuits including 24 v. controls, 120-240v. & 208-460v, single and three phase service
• Knowledge of PLC and automated control systems including pneumatic operators
• Able to adjust work schedule as production needs arise
• Interact with and maintain a positive relationship with management and department staff
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform special projects as needed or requested

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Speed Rail experience a plus
• Willing to attain certifications as requested including Second Grade Boiler License
• Experience with industrial dry cleaning/ laundry machines a plus
• Ability to prioritize and organize work related tasks and special projects
