General Warehouse Staff that work out of the Men's Wearhouse distribution center are responsible for the processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise and may also include Housekeeping and grounds keeping of the Facility.
General Warehouse staff typically performs the following tasks:
Processing/Sorting
Picking and packing
Tagging Labeling
Breaking down Items
Scanning
Shipping/Receiving
Auditing/Inspecting (Quality Control)
Stocking
Inventory of Merchandise
Other duties may include Housekeeping and grounds keeping of the facility
Successful General Wearhouse staff usually has the following characteristics and experience:
Prior experience in a warehouse or an industrial environment with a stable work history is a plus
Focus and attention to detail
Demonstrates a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments
Ability to take initiative and work with team members to accomplish defined goals in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining accuracy
Maintain regular, dependable attendance and high level performance
Physical requirements include but may not be limited to continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and stacking merchandise with lifting requirements up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays, Sundays when necessary
Must be able to work in all areas of production
Ability to learn new skills and take on additional job responsibilities as needed
Prior Housekeeping and grounds keeping experience (facilities positions)
