POSITION OVERVIEW

We are searching for a dynamic Senior Warehouse Manager who will add to our team and continue to raise the bar in client service, safety, and growth.  The Senior Warehouse Manager will oversee all aspects of our warehouse program and will be challenged to take our program to the next level.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations, technical and workload activities of support staff.
  • Achieve a Warehouse Quality and Performance Audit meeting service level agreements.  Results will be documented and reported as required.
  • Identify key customers and meet weekly with them to assess program satisfaction and program opportunities.  Results will be documented and reported monthly.
  • Review, plan and coordinate designated projects and activities.  Including required bid proposals and/or business case analysis.
  • Develop and implement a Lead/Supervisor development and skill training program.
  • Research and recommend new technologies on a quarterly basis to include equipment, materials and techniques.  Results will be reported on a quarterly basis.
  • Achieve employee satisfaction.  Satisfaction score will be a product of quarterly employee satisfaction surveying process.
  • Manage labor hours to 3% plus/minus of target each month.  Exceptions will be documented and communicated to management on a real time basis.
  • Achieve zero safety accidents per month. 
  • Conduct on-going health and safety, skill development, company policy training and document and report results monthly.
  • All employee evaluations completed during the month they are due.
  • Continually look for ways to reduce customer costs through productivity breakthroughs, process improvements and enhanced employee training.
  • Develop, distribute and drive standard operation procedures.
  • Provide consistent and reliable communication to management and support staff.
  • Provide feedback to management on staffing and needed resources.
  • Willingly performs other duties as assigned.

  • Resolves conflicts with co-workers and direct reports.
  • Assists employees in meeting personal career goals through training opportunities and skills assessment
  • Works towards company objectives in support of corporate values.
  • Provides quality customer service and works towards exceeding the expectations of our customers.
  • Actively participates and encourages participation of direct reports in the Process Improvement program.
  • Transfers information; receiving and giving information accurately.
  • Exhibits courtesy and professionalism when dealing with our customers.
  • Complies with, communicates and enforces company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Willingly performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience overseeing a warehouse program
  • Strong written/oral communications and presentation skills
  • Must be able to problem solve

COMPENSATION

  • Annual Salary range is $50,000 - $55,000, DOE
  • An attractive health benefits is offered, that includes medical, dental and vision plans, and two weeks of paid vacation
