Warehouse Associate / Forklift Driver Location: Perryville, MD 21903 Pay: $15.50/hour Schedule: 1st Shift Hours: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday Hours per Week: 40 Position Overview: We are hiring Warehouse Associates / Forklift Drivers to join our team in Perryville, MD. In this role, you’ll help keep warehouse operations running safely and efficiently by receiving and shipping freight, replenishing inventory, preparing customer orders, and operating powered warehouse equipment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and following established safety procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Receive and ship inbound and outbound freight accurately and efficiently. • Replenish merchandise in self-service areas and on the sales floor. • Select and prepare customer orders quickly, securely, and accurately. • Use warehouse technology and inventory systems to maintain accurate inventory. • Operate powered equipment such as forklifts and powered pallet jacks. • Load cardboard into a baler and operate the equipment according to safety procedures. • Follow all company safety, security, and operating procedures. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Safely handle and move merchandise throughout the warehouse. Qualifications: • 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or similar experience preferred. • Forklift/powered mobile equipment certification, or the ability to obtain certification. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and move throughout the work shift. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Strong attention to safety and accuracy. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
