Job Description
Employer: AWISCO New York Corp The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving and stocking inventory, preparing and packing customer orders. The warehouse associate must possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and must navigate a computer keyboard/screen easily. Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Receive trucks carrying inventory * Perform duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting * Pick, pack and stage incoming customer orders * Loads trucks and vehicles in preparation for deliveries and customer will-call orders * Maintains the warehouse and all surrounding areas * Performs cycle counts to assist with inventory control * Occasionally assist with local deliveries * Must be able to lift 50lbs * Must have basic computer related skills * Perform other warehouse related duties as necessary Hours of Operation Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Saturday: 8am-12pm *Employees must be willing to work at least two Saturday per month between the hours of 8am-12pm *Warehouse employees are required to wear steel-toed boots/shoes during their shift.
