Job Description
Employer: 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. 1-800-Flowers.com is looking for a warehouse associate to support order fulfillment operations. This position is a crucial part of a team that fulfills daily flower and gift orders from our amazing customers each day. The warehouse associate will be responsible for performing a variety of daily tasks including but not limited to receiving/processing incoming freight, picking/fulfilling orders, and packing/shipping orders. Responsibilities Include: * Complete daily work responsibilities * Comply with company policies and procedures * Hydrate inbound floral shipments * Prepare, pack, scan, and ship customer orders * Manage, organize, and retrieve stock and other needed materials * Build flower boxes in anticipation of future orders * Utilizes power equipment as needed * Maintains a clean work area * Other various tasks as assigned * Temporary labor supervision responsibility during peak holiday weeks * Ability to work extended hours during peak holidays to include nights and weekends Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Basic math skills * Ability to count and record inventory * Quality control * Ability to work in cold temperatures for an extended amount of time * Ability to work on your feet for an extended amount of time * Forklift and electric pallet jack certified or ability to obtain one * Written and verbal communication skills * Respect for the individual * Positive attitude and forward thinking * Bilingual in Spanish a plus * Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
